I kicked off my career at TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris. Back then, one of the world’s top 10 agencies and the creative muscle behind Nelson Mandela’s election win.




And I’m not just dropping names here; it genuinely shaped my outlook. From the start, I saw that great creative work isn’t just about selling stuff—it’s about making a real difference. That idea has fueled every project, every team, and every decision I’ve made ever since.
Over twenty years across some of the most respected agencies in South Africa and beyond, working on Heineken, BMW, Red Bull, L'Oréal, Unilever and Sony, I built a reputation as a creative who delivers. Not just awarded work (though there's plenty of that, from Cannes to the Loeries), but work that moved the needle and consistently gave clients a return worth talking about. I've led teams, shaped agency culture, launched a content platform across an entire continent, and mentored the next generation of young South African creators. The range is real.
Right now I consult as a Creative Director and Head of Content to US and European companies, while still based in Johannesburg, still restless, and genuinely excited about what's next.
