The Brief

A brand new coffee business launching in Mauritius needed everything built from scratch. Logo, colour system, look and feel, and the full suite of marketing collateral to get them to market. The budget was tight, which meant every creative decision had to work hard. The brand needed to feel local and authentic, rooted in Mauritius rather than generic, while communicating warmth, quality and the fact that the coffee was roasted on the island itself.

The Execution

The logo became the centrepiece of the entire identity. A coffee bean and a sea turtle were merged into a single, unified mark, two icons deeply associated with Mauritius, one representing the island's natural heritage, the other the craft of local roasting. Set against a deep navy background with teal and warm brown accents, the palette communicated both the tropical warmth of the island and the premium quality of the product.

The double-sided business card shown here demonstrates how the identity carried across collateral, the logo holding its own on one side, the contact details clean and well structured on the other. Every element of the corporate identity was built from this foundation.

The Outcome

A complete brand identity delivered within budget constraints, giving Café Paradis a coherent, distinctive visual presence from day one.
